JavaScript Job: Full Stack Developer - Remote

With over 3 million boxes shipped, Kitty Poo Club is the creator of the all-in-one litter box solution and source of food, toys, and other products for thousands of cat owners. Our company is growing, and we are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our development team. This is an entirely remote position where you'll be encouraged and equipped to do exceptional work.

What you will be doing ...

• Adding new features and updating existing functionality in our web site and supporting our e-commerce platform.
• Further build and refine our development and production environments, with a focus on rapid expansion, security, stability, and extensibility.
• Assist in architecture and maintenance of headless CMS and internal API which provides common interface between mission-critical e-commerce systems.
• Work with building/modifying HTML, CSS and React.js/Next.js.
• Research, track and understand new web, API, and e-commerce technologies to assist in providing technical insight for the team and keep our systems running smoothly and up to date.
• Innovate with modern open web standards.
• Building automated testing processes.

What we are looking for...

• Experience with full-stack development.
• Experience working with a variety of APIs and writing code to connect systems via APIs.
• Experience building APIs and "full-stack" system integrations.
• Knowledge of common programming languages and best practices when it comes to software and systems architecture.
• Specific experience with AWS Lambda and AWS Database Services.
• Specific experience with React.js/Next.js required.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude that focuses on figuring out how to accomplish difficult tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
• Ability to drive projects through to completion.
• A team player with a good work ethic and focus on helping create the best experience for our customers.

What will set you apart...

• Experience in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
• Experience with Recurly subscription and billing platform
• Experience with Acumatica ERP
• Experience automation and robotics coding
